Fabric Guide
To ensure your fabric remains in top condition for years, it’s important to follow proper care guidelines. Whether it's premium suiting fabric, cotton, wool, or blends, these simple tips will help maintain the quality, texture, and color of your fabrics.
1. Read the Care Label
Always check the care instructions provided with your fabric. Each material has specific cleaning, drying, and ironing requirements, especially delicate fabrics like Boski, Latha, or wool.

2. Washing Tips
- Wash n Wear and Cotton: Hand wash or machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle. Avoid hot water, as it may cause shrinkage.
- Wool & Winter Fabrics: Use cold water and a mild detergent. Consider dry cleaning for high-quality wool. Avoid wringing to prevent stretching or damaging the fibers.
- Boski & Latha: Dry cleaning is recommended to maintain the fabric’s sheen and delicate texture.
- Airesh & Lightweight Fabrics: Machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash in cold water.
3. Drying
- Air drying is ideal for most fabrics to prevent shrinkage and maintain shape.
- Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause colors to fade, especially with darker fabrics.
- For wool, lay the fabric flat to dry to avoid stretching.
4. Ironing
- Low heat is recommended for delicate fabrics like Boski, Latha, and Airesh.
- Cotton can be ironed on medium to high heat, but always iron on the reverse side to avoid damaging the fabric’s finish.
- For wool, use a steamer or press with a low-temperature setting, placing a damp cloth between the iron and the fabric.
5. Storage
- Store fabrics in a cool, dry place.
- Fold neatly and avoid hanging heavy fabrics like wool, as they can stretch.
- Use breathable garment bags for delicate materials to protect from dust and moisture.
6. Stain Removal
For stains, act quickly:
- Use a mild detergent and cold water for most stains.
- For wool and delicate fabrics, consult a professional cleaner to avoid damage.
